У повідомленні наведено дані щодо гормонів жирової тканини – адипокінів та їх роль у патогенезі ендокринних, зокрема цукрового діабету 2 типу, та інших захворювань. Висвітлено особливості їх біосинтезу, механізмів дії та біологічної активності.
