Etiotropic therapy of fungal infections in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

 The main criterion for effectiveness of chemotherapy of foot mycosis is the percentage of patients with a complete mycological negativation in areas being affected by pathogenic fungi. Mycological and cultural studies were carried out before treatment, 8 weeks after initiation of therapy and 12 weeks after the end of treatment.
