Abstract
The condition of cerebral hemodynamics in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis in young and middle-aged ones in the state of sub- and manifested hypothyroidism was studied. The change in indices of hemodynamic cerebral arteries, more pronounced in the system and the vertebral artery in patients of older age group, that may be an indication of a disorder in tonic-elastic properties of the cerebral vessels was established by Rheoencephalography method based on an evaluation of qualitative and quantitative characteristics. Autoimmune thyroiditis can be considered as a factor contributing to the development and progression of cerebrovascular lesions of different severity.
