Abstract
This review is devoted to up-to-date literature on the application of the method of cryopreserved ovarian tissue transplantation in experimental biology and reproductive medicine. Successful results of endocrine function and fertility restoration in ovariectomized animalsrecipients are described. Clinical data proved female patients to deliver healthy children after courses of cancer therapy. The problems of technology associated with damage of the follicular pool during cryopreservation and transplantation, as well as possible ways of improving the viability of follicles by optimizing the protocol, are discussed in this article.
