Abstract
Аn analysis to provide patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus by oral hypoglycemic agents and insulin was carried out. It allowed to conclude about the real state of consumption and prescription of hypoglycemic agents, to compare the actual situation with the current recommendations and instructions for the treatment of diabetes. The efficiency of the treatment of diabetic patients was analyzed by the level of disease compensation in different regions of Ukraine. The optimal models to ensuring diabetic
patients with hypoglycemic agents were proposed.
