Abstract

The authors present the modern trends and prospects of development of basic endocrinology, with emphasis on the molecular mechanisms of hormone action, the  prospects of gene therapy and stem cell use in the treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus, the problems of oncoendocrinology.
