Adrenal gland incidentalomas: aspects of diagnosis and choice of patients’ management strategy

Abstract

The widespread use of modern instrumental methods of topical diagnosis led to an increased frequency of detection of adrenal incidentalomas. The detection of  hormone hypersecretion and exclusion of a malignant process are compulsory to choose the right tactics of management of patients with adrenal tumors. The authors  present the results of instrumental and laboratory methods of diagnosis in 333 patients with adrenal incidentalomas.
