Abstract
Dynamic encephaloangioscintigraphy was performed to patients on a scintillation tomographic gamma-camera GKS 301 T with a high-sensitive general-purpose collimator, in supine position (anterior projection) using 99mTc-pertechnetate. The examinations performed suggested cerebral blood flow disturbance in males with type 2 diabetes mellitus with metabolic syndrome and agerelated hypogonadism, the most pronounced changes being noted in patients with arterial hypertension. A tendency to disturbances of blood flow was reported in big and middle cerebral arteries in males with type 2 diabetes mellitus and androgen deficit, compared with the patients examined with diabetes without androgen deficit.
