Abstract

The messenger mechanisms mediating cannabinoids regulatory signals in the adrenal cortex were studied. The aim of the work was to measure levels of transcription  factors с-jun and с-fos in human adrenal cortex after N-acylethanolamines (NAE) treatment. The role of transcription factors c-fos and c-jun, which are included in AP-1  factor, attracts attention in realization of NAE signal transduction. Level expression of c-jun increased 50% after 10 μM NAE treatment, c-fos increased 3-fold after NAE  treatment. Together these finding suggest that transcriptional factors с-jun  and c-fos mediate NAE signal transduction in human adrenocorticocytes.
